What to Expect

Entering a new space for the first time can be quite scary and intimidating, so explore this page to feel a little more comfortable joining us for the first time! First and foremost, YogaLife is a space for everyone to find movement, breath, stillness and peace. EVERYONE is welcome and will be met with compassion.

What to Bring

  • a yoga mat (we do have some at the studio if you do not have one, but it is recommended that you eventually purchase your own that suits your needs best)

  • water

  • comfortable clothing

  • props if you have specific items you enjoy using (we have a variety of blocks, bolsters and blankets that all are welcome to use)

Parking - there is a parking lot behind the studio, all spaces facing the water are available to use. If that lot is full, there is parking on the street, down Harbourside Dr, and across from Willow park.

Upon Entering - doors will open 15 minutes prior to class

  • check in with the instructor so they can mark you as attended

  • find a cubby to place your belongings

  • turn off your phone (vibration mode is also distracting, as are watches that buzz) and enjoy the moment being unplugged

  • help yourself to props and set up your mat where you like - the instructor may direct you as to where to set up when the class is very full

  • quiet conversation only please, also being mindful of the topics of conversation, as many people use this time settle

  • enjoy class!

These classes are yours! All are welcome and encouraged to modify the instructed class to suit your needs, being mindful to not distract others from their practice.
