We all understand the benefits of yoga, and most likely (like us) discovered them as an adult. How amazing would it be for children to experience and integrate the yoga teachings from a young age? Yoga has been proven to help children:

• process emotions by being more aware of themselves and their feelings

• develop confidence and body-love

• suffer less from anxiety and depression

• build functional strength, increase mobility

• sleep better

• develop empathy towards others

• increase focus and attention for tasks

What It Costs ($17/day)

Fall Semester - September 9th - Dec 16th - 14 classes - (Closure on Nov 11) - $238 - Healthy snack provided

Winter Semester - January 6th - March 10th - 10 classes - $170 - Healthy snack provided

Spring Semester - March 24th - June 23rd - 14 classes - $238 - Healthy snack provided

When We Meet

Each Thursday during the school year. This is timed for Wolfville School - kids from Wolfville school will be picked up at dismissal from school grounds.

Children from other schools can be dropped off at YogaLife at 245pm. Pick up is by 5pm.

What To Expect

No more than 8 children under the care of a single yoga instructor with current CPR, Criminal Record Check, and Child Abuse Registry Check.

The program aims to be active, and largely child-led, which means, we will move our bodies, explore our surroundings, but a specific daily schedule will not exist as we will take our cues from the kids. Weather permitting will explore the outdoors on nature walks, familiarize ourselves with the wonderful playgrounds Wolfville has close by, and run free (under supervision). Indoors, we will learn mindfulness and meditation, explore movement through yoga and dance, and even curl up with blankets and pillows for stories if that is the mood.

Children will be accompanied at all times by the adult.

School closures result in the program being cancelled.
